I have stayed in a number of Australian B & B's Self Catering Units over the last few years and I have to stay that not one of them came anywhere near the comfort, cleanliness, flexibility and touching attention to detail that I experienced at The Courtyard.
Patrick & Christine's warmth and friendliness was second to none and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect escape!

My Australian husband and I have stayed in many B&Bs over our 22 years together and Christine and Pat's Courtyard has topped them all. Which is saying a lot, as we are usually homesick for our special place right on the beach in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
The 2 generous, private rooms and large, sparkling bath come with a large courtyard for sunning and dining, more amenities than we can list, a fabulous breakfast, and a very comfortable bed. And Christine's carrot cake is not to be missed! They even let us walk their two sweet dogs to the beach less than 10 minutes away.
We look forward to staying here every time we visit Craig's family!

Thank you so much for helping to make our stay really comfortable and enjoyable. Lynette was feeling very stressed prior to our trip ( simply due to parenting and trying to find enough money to support herself) but after your special care she was able to relax and enjoy herself very much. We were very grateful for your generosity and kindness. By the way, all the traditional touches of doilies and cups and saucers was lovely. Sometimes, things from the past is more healing than surging on into materialism.

Your B&B is a delightful and cozy get away, we enjoyed our time so much thanks to your hospitality. The choccy, cake and biccies were a delight to receive, its those little extras that make an experience. The bed was very comfy and the room and bathroom spacious and warming. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful and served at our convenience. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Beautiful furnishings, every comfort provided, in a beautiful private setting. We enjoyed the variety of your breakfasts. A short stroll to the sea - a very quiet area of Mt Eliza. Appreciated the extras - afternoon cake, chocolates, port & the "drinks" in the fridge and the DVD movies.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you. The accommodation was every bit as good as we had anticipated - no disappointments - and what a luxurious bathroom. What was most impressive was the total privacy - not only with the room and also the garden, but from the hosts. You were there if we wanted anything, but otherwise it was total seclusion - suitable even for honeymoon couples.
It is nice to interact with one's hosts, but if you have decided on a really lazy away-break, you hardly need people to keep telling you that you must visit this, and have you seen that, etc. etc. Most visitors will have decided what they want to see anyway, and no doubt will have been to a visitor information centre.
We loved the personal menu for breakfast - computers are an asset at times. We will certainly be recommending The Courtyard to anyone wishing for a quiet relaxing break. The cumquat marmalade has been made, and we also have a jar of them in brandy. Many thanks. We wish you well for the future, and who knows, you may see us again sometime.

Christine and Patrick are the perfect hosts, friendly and accommodating, happy to provide recommendations when asked or leave you to enjoy your very comfortable private room and courtyard. The breakfasts were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed afternoons in the pool or relaxing in the courtyard. I highly recommend this B&B for visitors to the Mornington Peninsula.

My partner and I stayed two nights - (would have love to have been longer). Christine and Patrick are great hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. The unit was spotless. Food Great, and most importantly lovely people. We hope to come back again.
